Auch die Geschichte von Ronja wird weiter beleuchtet. Sie ist chronisch an Krebs erkrankt und kämpft wie eine Löwin – so wie Leo in ‚Club der roten Bänder‘. ‚Die Serie beschönigt nichts und sie lässt nichts aus, auch nicht, wie schlecht es uns ganz oft geht‘, sagt Ronja und weiter: ‚Club der roten Bänder? fordert einen auf, niemals aufzugeben und immer Hoffnung zu haben.
